Electricview specializes in algorithmic trading and automation in the energy market.The story started during COVID times when I and my 3 friends had more time on hand. Everybody felt that it was the moment to come up with something. We started planning. We started coding. We started reaching out to potential clients. We started to brainstorm some ideas, which then led to planning and coding. In the next phase we already started to reach out to potential clients.ElectricView in very simple words is an automation software for the energy market helping to keep our client's portfolios in balance.The imbalance of energy comes with a cost and our main mission is to reduce it. We work with SMEs, energy sellers and balance managers helping them to intelligently manage their energy portfolios. We are the biggest help in helping to scale renewable energy production more rapidly. The problem with renewable energy plants is that currently, it’s impossible to control how much and when they produce. This causes a portfolio imbalance for the energy sellers.Here is where we come in. We aggregate the data, analyze it and our intelligent software manages it automatically in real-time. Personally, I’m wearing many hats. I have been with the team since day 0 as a technical founder. I have been particularly involved with the product side, in coding and developing our products. On the other side, as in every small company I’m involved in business strategy and development. To diversify my skill set, I moved from development to IT analysis. I continued to build on my skills learned from Helmes and joined SRINI. My role and responsibilities expanded quickly as I was not coding anymore but acting as a connector and link between the client and developers.I felt I was thriving as I could use my coding knowledge but also apply it where I feel the most comfortable - dealing with people. My job was to work with a client, understand what they want and need and connect the dots. I was managing several projects from start to completion. As SRINI is a rapidly growing company, I had the opportunity to learn from the partners and work with different teams across the board. I saw most of the aspects of the business from new business, and invoicing to hiring concepts and strategy.It was a brilliant experience as I was part of a thriving company with a great company culture and I was learning a lot at the same time.

Shortly after graduating TalTech and finishing my VR project there I joined one of the most renowned development agencies in Estonia.Helmes specializes in custom software development and consulting mainly working B2B with big players in Estonia and across Europe.I joined Helmes as a Junior Full Stack developer. The set-up was that as a junior I got direct access to senior developers throughout my first 3-4 projects, under whose guidance I experienced exponential growth. This was a blessing as I learned fast and direct.The time in Helmes was when I refined my hard skills in coding and development. I learned how the software development processes work at the IT industry level. I feel that the time there equipped me with the skills and knowledge of how to develop my own projects from the start.My biggest learning was to learn to build something independently, testing my ideas and thoughts that equipped me with skills that helped me to start my next project.Skills/tools: SPA development, Cross-platform mobile app development, C#, React, JavaScript

Throughout the last year of my bachelor's and both of my master's degrees at TalTech, I worked in the IT faculty R&D laboratory. It was a sponsored scholarship and I was building VR games and simulations. Based on these simulations we wrote research papers on how people interacted with those games and simulations. This role taught me the basics of research, teamwork and project management. It was my first experience seeing an important project like this from start to end, teaching me the basic components of project management. I found that I was good at pushing things through and getting things done. I also learned that if you want to go fast go alone but if you want to go far go together. In the beginning, I struggled to delegate as I have such high standards but realized quite fast that building something truly remarkable requires a collective effort, I understood the importance of teamwork.
