(www.affecto.com) regarded various administrative tasks such as planning, arranging, and marketing Business intelligence (BI) and GIS training sessions for Affecto’s clients. During my studies I worked for the land parcels inventory project commissioned by the Ministry of Agriculture in Finland and the European Union. My responsibilities included digitizing land parcels from orthorectified aerial photographs using MapInfo Professional GIS software and quality control.During this time I occasionally also did MapInfo Professional.

I worked on a land cover assessment project involving study areas in Southwest Uganda. My responsibilities were to process and classify digital aerial photographs and conduct fieldwork on location in Uganda. This short attachment to ICRAF contributed significantly to my Masters Thesis, which was completed in 2006.
