AEPC and MUCH have a long-standing history and partnership in employee healthcare coalition purchasing.

Responsible for executing Ford's Global Wellbeing strategy. I managed a global wellbeing website, develop our content strategy and curate wellbeing tools to support our employees and People Leaders. I helped build a culture of wellbeing, by using a holistic approach that supports individuals and teams and emphasizes the importance of placing employee wellbeing at the center of business decisions.

I helped develop Health and Welfare benefits strategy, manage the annual benefits change process and Annual Enrollment communications process, in addition to Strategic benefits communications. I also led the HIPAA investigation team.

Working with the global HR leadership team, I participated in strategy development, change management, decision-making and governance at the senior executive level. I led a global communications team and began to appreciate the complexity and scope of a global multinational company. I enjoy “stretch” assignments and moved to a specialized HR role that gave me the opportunity to learn and apply my organizational knowledge / HR expertise.

During my second rotation as a Ford College Graduate (FCG), I played an instrumental role in meeting 90% of our hiring targets. In this role, I leveraged many organizational development tools to support our customers at an individual, team and organizational level.

My introduction to Ford’s core business began when I started as a first-year FCG at Dearborn Stamping Plant. The HR FCG program is a 4-year rotational development program for Masters level graduates. I learned about manufacturing culture, collaborated with the UAW and discovered that my ability to build relationships, negotiate and adapt were valued strengths.

I received two promotions in one year, helped secure a new contract with Henry Ford Health Systems and trained managers on a new HR procurement tool, while pursuing my M.Ed. in training and performance improvement at Wayne State University. I left this role to pursue an internship in Learning & Development and finish graduate school.

Teach for America is a national corps dedicated to improving educational outcomes in under-resourced schools. I moved to Houston to fulfill a 2-year commitment to help students achieve significant academic gains. It was a life-changing experience personally and professionally helped propel me down my current path.
