Putting farmers at the centre of rebuilding our food systems is crucial to sustainably feeding a growing global population and that’s exactly what I do! After completing my Agricultural Engineering, I pursued my masters in Agricultural and Food Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. I am a firm believer that one must advance knowledge and innovations through research excellence and scientific understanding. The agriculture industry is constantly adapting and developing new technology and science in order to maintain our populations’ needs and I am doing my bit. I help develop and build high quality agricultural business models blended with advanced technology to create wins for farmers, consumers, and the planet.My knowledge, love of the land, and entrepreneurship ability is what drives me. During my faculty positions in Agricultural Colleges, I constantly strive to inspire others with my love for farming and entrepreneurial passion that fuels my dreams.Agriculture has been a significant part of my life as I grew up on a farm. My experiences on the farm are valuable because I had the opportunity to discover what agriculture was really about first-hand. I had the opportunity to learn about agriculture from the most important people in my life, my family. I believe that my home roots played an important role in my passion to become more involved in the agriculture industry.In the agricultural sector, some of my main professional achievements include many papers that I have published and the awards that I have collected.I hope I am able to transfer this passion on to my two kids who along with my wife are my lifelines.
