Born in S.Korea and working in the private and public sectors in the US and S.Korea over decades, I bring exceptional understanding and knowledge of both business worlds to companies seeking new and dynamic opportunities in cross-border commerce.My services focus on assisting companies engaging in cross border trade between the US and Asia by providing strategic guidance and practical knowhow, including providing leads and contacts related to market entry, development, and expansion strategy for companies in all sizes including start-ups. I have also been providing business mentoring & matchmaking services for S.Korean companies (+100) with emerging technology (Information Technology, AI, AR, VR, Blockchain, Robotics, Biotechnology etc.) in the US.Additionally I am currently the Executive Director for the Global Chamber® Baltimore/Washington DC. In the public sector, I served in the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), the US Agency for Global Media (USAGM), where I provided high-level Business Management/Administration services including budget, finance, procurement/acquisition, and special management projects. I also served as a Congressional Correspondent for the East Asia division of the Voice of America, during which I conducted numerous high profile interviews leading to various recognitions and awards.Prior to my public sector service, I was a seasoned marketing/advertising professional working for MBC AdCom, an International marketing/advertising company in S.Korea, as an Account Executive handling multimillion-dollar accounts in various industries including automotive, airlines, insurance, cosmetics, etc.I graduated from Ewha Womans University in S. Korea with a degree in English Language and Literature and earned an MBA from the University of Hawaii under the US Congress funded East-West Center Scholarship.
