Serve as the General Manager of the Florida National High Adventure Sea Base, where I started my BSA career from 1988 to 1992, serving as the Program Director. With a budget of $19.3 million, the Sea Base offers year round programs to over 15,000 young women and men from across the country with 19 programs in the Florida Keys, the USVI's, the Bahamas and the Dry Tortugas. Accomplishments include:18% growth in 4 years - from 13,562 in 2016 to 16,06131% growth in revenue - from $12,385,000 in 2016 to $16,340,000Successful completion of capital projects totaling $2.2 million including a 280' concrete dock, elevator refurbishment, coral nursery construction and STEM Classroom constructionThe Sea Base consists of three properties, the Sea Base on Lower Matecumbe Key, the Brinton Environmental Center, located on Summerland Key and Big Munson Island, a 100 acre island located in Newfound Harbor. Programs include Scuba Certification, Scuba Adventure, Scuba Liveaboard, Coral Reef Sailing on 40' sailboats, Sea Exploring on 70' sailboats, Out Island (on Big Munson), sailing in the USVI's and Bahamas, STEM programs and programs in the Dry Tortugas at Fort Jefferson.

Scout Executive/Chief Executive Officer for the Quivira Council serving more than 13,000 young people in 30 counties in south and southeast Kansas with a values based, character development program. Total operating budget of $2.5 million, operating two camps, Quivira Scout Ranch near Sedan, KS and Camp Kanza near Hutchinson, KS. Accomplishments include:Successful completion of $6.6 million capital campaignGrowth in operating fundraising, special events and product sales net to $1.3 million annually Responsible for capital construction of new office and camp projects including dining hall, waste water infrastructure, training center and program areas

Served as Scout Executive/CEO of East Carolina Council, serving 6,400 youth in 21 counties in eastern North Carolina. Total operating budget of $1.9 million included operation of 4 camps and 13 year round staff.Accomplishments include:Successful completion of $2.2 million capital campaignCapital construction at camp including family cabins and dining hall renovationYearly operating fundraising of $1.1 million (direct gifts and special events)

As Director of Development and Marketing for Heart of America Council (one of the 10 largest BSA Councils in the country with total operating budget of $8.5 million) was responsible for operating fundraising, special events, product sales and marketing including website, printed materials and newsletter.Accomplishments include:Organized the largest DCAD (Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner) in the Council's history, raising $456,000Grew product sales from $960,000 to $1,800,000 in 4 yearsIncreased yearly giving to $1.3 million. Grew Sporting Clays and Golf Tournament to a combined gross of $245,000
