i enjoy combining my technical experience (in building and sustainability) and my design work (both graphic and in fashion) to create content, products and programs that are appealing, engaging and that further my beliefs in social and environmental good. this has brought me to my newest endeavour, as the owner of THE TEN SPOT fredericton, the “anti-spa” beauty bar franchise. it is a wax bar, laser bar, nail bar, skin bar, brow + lash bar! i first visited in 2009, when pregnant with my first child. i was attracted by their healthy options. these include the use of their branded GET NAILED "10 free" polishes, paraben, phthalate and synthetic fragrance free creams and washes and the fact that there was no acrylics in the house.so - i'm bringing the amazing franchise to new brunswick! we are in development and plan to open this summer. learn more about it at https://www.thetenspot.com/about/.
