SLO Hacks is Cal Poly's largest student-run hackathon. Our organization coordinates multiple hackathon events throughout the year, and our flagship event, SLO Hacks 2020, has attracted over 350 attendees to experience 36 hours of non-stop hacking, learning, collaborating, and more.- Head of Logistics for pre-event and day-of logistics for the entire hackathon, including main event communication, scheduling all events, transportation, and optimizing attendee experience- Organized two of Cal Poly’s collegiate hackathons in partnership with Major League Hacking to host events with over 350+ attendees to propel students to build STEM projects for social good- Developed an SOP and improvement strategy to increase operational efficiency by 20%- Acquired food sponsors and venues by negotiating business proposals regarding sponsorship deals and logistics- Assisted Design Team for branding, marketing collateral, and graphics, and merchandise
