Master Thesis regarding automatic transmissions.The goal is to develop a simulation tool to estimate drag torque in an automatic gearbox. This is to enable smoother gearing and reduce NVH. Results from the model are verified against existing testresults.The model will then be coupled to a model of the synchronization process. This is to see how the drag torque affects the relative speed between parts during shifting.The tool is created within MATLAB/Simulink. I also use other software, such as Office programs and CAD software, to aid the thesis.

Engineer at electric car start-up. I was recruited by contacts I made during the Formula Student project. Due to the company being brand new, there was a lot to be done with limited resources. This meant various tasks for me as an engineer. Mainly, I helped set up work shop, prototyping (from designer mesh to physical object) and developing the 3D-mesh to prototype process.

I was a substitute teacher in mathematics in both Lund and Malmö. Mainly, I taught more advanced high school mathematics at Katedralskolan in Lund.

Helping students in exercises in solid mechanics. This included bothhelp to individual students and short lectures when required.

Split time between test lab and measuring room to assist engineers with tests and measuring.In the measuring room, my responsibility was to both measure parts for prototypes when they arrived from suppliers and to perform routine measurements from production to ensure quality. Many different measuring tools were used such as calipers, micrometers, surface roughness measuring machine, microscope and a 3D-coordinate measuring machine. The time in the test lab was spent on performing tests on both sub- and complete systems and writing reports.

Part of a 25 student strong formula student team that reached 4th place at Silverstone. The team went through the four phases concept, construction, manufacturing and testing. I was part of a group responsible for brakes, steering and suspension. During the concept-phase we first decided in big strokes how the car would be through lapsims. Then, we in my group, went through all concepts we fiind for each system and rated them for performance, manufacturability etc that would fit our big concept. This resulted in a double A-arm suspension, discbrakes and rack and pinion steering. During the construction I was responsible for construction of uprights, hubs and all rods for unsprung parts. The goal was to achieve enough total stiffness to reach the goal of performance on the tyres while minimizing weight. ANSYS and MATLAB were my main tools to reach the goals.During manufacturing my responsibility was for all milling. This included manual milling and up to 5-axis CNC milling. Some milling was carried out in the workdshop in LTH while more advanced milling was performed at Examec in Tommelilla.

Intermittently. First 6 months as a project product technician. The project was called UPPLEVA and was IKEA's attempt to start selling TV's and related furniture and items. My responsibility was to ensure all documentation was in order. This included 3D-models, drawings, packaging drawings, rules and law requirements, standards, fitting lists etc. After that summer jobs as extra resource for ordinary engineers. I had same responsibilities but I was not tied to any project. I assisted all technicians.

Assembler of heavy machinery. Each assembly took one day to perform and required drilling, threading, heavy lifting, hydraulic assembly and assembly of screws and parts.
