About Mikael Philipsson

Step by step, everything is becoming digitized. Today, important parts of our lives take place online. Withthat in mind, it's surprising how many people, businesses and areas struggle with very limited internetaccess.At COS Systems we're on a mission to help connect the unconnected. With the experience from building FTTH in Sweden for over 10 years and our end-to-end software we strive to bridge the digital divide, providing as many as possible with affordable fiber to the home.My passion is developing companies that grow fast and disrupt traditional industries with digital transformation, new technology or new business models. I have my background in the armed forces as technical officer and have a great interest in leadership, especially a value based leadership style. I have extensive experience in fiber infrastructure rollouts, Open Access, Internet and telecom industry as I have over 18 years had various roles as CTO, Sales director, head of innovations and CEO under ownership of EQT, when developing IP-Only, a fiber infrastructure operator in the Nordics to 1,5 bn SEK in turnover and 500+ employees.
