The Capital Markets Club is a Kelley hosted club that trains students to get ready for more advanced classes required for the Investment Banking Workshop. Members are required to attend weekly meetings where we learn crucial concepts of investment banking.• Trained as an investment banker on how to how to build operating models and discounted cash flow models• Participated in discussions about ongoing deals related to mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and leveraged finance• Discussed and analyzed current market economic events while gauging the long-term market outlook

The Financial Investment Review takes all new members through a rigorous 8-week training program. Depending on whether you choose to specialize in equity research (ER) or mergers and acquisitions (M&A), the training is tailored to the individuals' needs. After that, members produce slide decks of stock pitches or corporate M&A deals.• Practicing as an M&A analyst to produce strategic recommendations on corporate M&A deals• Invited to work in deal teams with a mentor to examine various valuation methods with a focus on intrinsic valuation • Collaborated in small-team environments to discuss key concepts in corporate finance and investment decisions

Selected in an equity-research-like program as one of 54 faculty-selected students from 220 initial applicants to cover the financial sector.

• Conducted extensive research and analysis on various companies to identify potential candidates for a sell-side deal• Collaborated with other analysts to review company descriptions, geography, industry and strategic and financial fit

• Rotated and learnt from the major departments within the bank, including the treasury and investing department• Shadowed 5 department heads and gained a foundational understanding of corporate and retail banking• Informed high net-worth clients on how to allocate their capital alongside the wealth management agent
