Leading a mixed team of IT-professionals. The general IT-strategy and service catalog will be on my table. We will try to align IT with the actual needs that the city of Raseborg has. I will also emphasize, that the whole organization must be involved if any kind of digitalization is to be done.

My scope is the infrastructure technology stack within the wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland. Managing a team of 15 professionals.

Leading the IT-department and the transformation towards a more integrated and consolidated IT-architecture. This includes a cloud transformation regarding end user workplace solutions and an implementation of a cloud based ERP-solution via well defined and functioning API:s. Internal automation of repetitive processes are also in scope.

I took over the strategic- and operational lead within Arcada and the responsibility for creating a digital roadmap. Most current projects involve automation of manual processes with large volumes and further integrating and consolidating the environment into a functioning operational platfrom.

I take part in and lead a general transformation project regarding the IT service processes and infrastructure. My duties included management of data center, network and end-user services. Integration of Digia ERP towards the production lines via Siemens OPC was also on the agenda, especially regarding the transport box marking solution. Upcoming projects would have been a new mini loader warehouse solution and probably a WMS.Vendor management was also an integral part of this work.Due to family reasons, I decided to head back to Turku even though the job was very rewarding.

My main responsibility was to take internal project lead of the WSDS track, which contained harmonization and consolidation of the existing group AD infrastructure with seven domains and related end-user services onto one group wide solution hkscan.com. Unified communications, video- and teleconferencing solutions and enterprise endpoint security were also within my area of responsibility.

I created the FMO IT-organization by recruiting personnel to varying key positions mainly within regional IT-support. I was responsible for the budget and the budgeting process. I also set up annual goals regarding the development of the IT-environment and the formal follow up that we met these goals within scheduled time and budget. I personally actively took part in the development activities.

I made the initial changes within the organization consisting of 103 units and 1300 personnel. These tasks included new server room facilities, a new virtualization environment, new software in general regarding standard end-user services and applications together with a migration from an environment based on Nowell netware to a Microsoft Windows based environment . The network backbone was also renewed and the security features related to general network services were also improved.From previous experiences,I developed modules for the internal schooling of the personnel via Php and Moodle. These included an internal follow-up regarding the competencies for the person in question.During the initial change phase, we were totally two people at the IT-department handling all this.

CRM development via LAMP platform for a Helsinki based start-up company. The company was shut down after three months.
