Passionate senior product manager and experienced software architect, I am currently working as the Chief Technical Officer of Tharzen Inc since April 2019, transferring my discoveries in reversible programming languages into a WordPress plugin to enable instant editing on a website, whatever its plugins and themes.More generally, in team efforts, I love to plan and delegate the creation of software that impact positively the life of end-users, to increase productivity, to inspire, and to promote inclusivity and accessibility. During my career, I supervised junior researchers and engineers and always lead them until they reach their potential and the goal we set together.I am used to interviewing customers, gathering and analyzing data, emitting and validating hypotheses, making and defending plans, and executing and delegating tasks that I have agreed on with effectiveness and robustness.Given my background, I can understand and enhance huge codebases with hundreds of thousands of files, while automating tasks and processes so as to free time for creative thinking.I obtained a PhD in Computer Science from EPFL in 2017 and many rewards, awards and fellowships for my efforts.

PhdEpfl Sep 2012 - Nov 2017Lausanne, SwitzerlandDuring this PhD, I demonstrated that we could perfectly use tools such as programming by example in a productive way, under the condition that we could reuse the program and that the computer could ask questions in case of ambiguity.With Jad Hamza, we proved an 20-year old open conjecture about the fact that we cannot do better than asking O(n^3) questions for a particular class of programs when there is no interaction. We proved that, with interaction, we can stay in the very reasonable range of O(n) questions only. -
