I received my Mechanical Engineering degree in February 2005 at Luleå University of Technology. I was a PhD student in the research project “Remote Vehicle Dynamics” within the Centre for Automotive Systems Technologies and Testing (CASTT) from 2005 - 2009. In my research at LTU 2005 - 2010 I studied the testing methods of automotive winter testing to highlight how software for vehicle dynamic simulation can be used to enhance the testing activities, collaboration and procedure. I have been an invited guest PhD student at Mechanical Simulation (CarSim) and Optimal Design Laboratory at University of Michigan, MI, USA.Currently I work at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) as an Associate Professor in Vehicle Dynamics and I am also active in Integrated Transport Research Lab (ITRL) at KTH where I am responsible for the Research Concept Vehicles, the PhD course and supervise PhD students.My current research focus is vehicle validation and driver vehicle interaction but also involved in urban vehicle concepts, autonomous vehicles, fault-tolerant control and over-actuated vehicles.Apart from my teaching in Applied vehicle dynamics control, the vehicle dynamics project course and integrated transport systems educational activities I am also faculty advisor for our student competitions at KTH, both KTH Formula Student and KTH Hyperloop. Between 2019 and until 2022 I was the main contact at KTH for EIT-Urban Mobility.
