As a Senior Consultant at Fellowmind (previously Project-IT), I specialized in managing financial services projects encompassing software, cloud, and on-premise infrastructure, with a strong focus on cybersecurity. My work included a core banking renewal project, a central bank treasury system replacement project, a VoIP system upgrade project, Windows upgrade rollouts for several banks, and a VPN capacity upgrade project. Leveraging my expertise, I effectively navigated complex environments, working primarily with IBM mainframe-based and Microsoft Azure cloud-based solutions. My contributions played a critical role in ensuring the successful execution and completion of these high-impact projects while maintaining the highest standards of security in the financial services sector.

As CTO of Long Play, a pioneering media company focused on investigative journalism, I led a team of engineers in overseeing the full life cycle development of a custom e-commerce platform for selling digital products. We were among the first to introduce microtransactions for media companies, earning support from Google through their Digital News Initiative to foster innovation in the media sector. I personally engaged with major media corporations in Finland, introducing our groundbreaking solution to the marketplace, which was well-received.Our robust solution was built on Google Cloud, featuring a customized Drupal 8 backend for CMS purposes, a Node/Vue.JS single-page application, intelligent caching of assets, and Cloud SQL for data management. Through these cutting-edge technologies, we significantly contributed to the evolution of the media landscape, setting new standards for digital content monetization.

Project Manager: Successfully managed the implementation of an innovative self-scanning retail POS solution for Finland's largest retailer. I served as the central PM, coordinating with the retail client, hardware scanner vendor, software vendor, and Fujitsu, which provided the POS system.Scrum Master: Collaborated with a team of four engineers to develop a unique software and hardware solution for an integrated circuit self-scanning shopping basket. The system featured a Python backend running on an IoT device connected to a Fujitsu K5 OpenStack-based cloud API written in Java Spring Boot, and a hybrid frontend written in React running on an Android device.Software Architect: Deployed to Fujitsu HQ in Tokyo to work on open banking API solutions and Fujitsu enterprise blockchain platform solutions, which ran on top of Hyperledger Fabric.Software Architect: Assumed responsibility for a legacy process automation software that generated annual savings exceeding 20M€. I worked with a team of experts to enhance the solution and supported the development of a next-generation business process modeling tool to replace the legacy system.Software Developer: Collaborated on a project between Fujitsu and one of the biggest logistics companies in Finland, focusing on innovation in B2B logistics. The transactional business model was based on the premise that consumer logistics offered greater predictability and transparency regarding the supply chain.Software Developer: Contributed to the development of an internal Dropbox-like tool that could be securely deployed on OpenStack, VMware, or Bare Metal. The app ran on Fujitsu's K5 platform, built on top of OpenStack and operated as a private cloud. It was deployed with Jenkins on Cloud Foundry and featured a Java Spring Boot backend, React frontend, SQL for storage, and on-demand cloud object storage.
