Mikala Rhoads Email and Phone Number

Mikala Rhoads is a first-year undergraduate at Texas Tech University in the Rawls College of Business. She has maintained a grade point average of 3.769 as of the Spring semester of 2014, qualifying for the Dean's Honor List. Her experience includes childcare, youth ministry, and horse handling. She babysits when needed for family, friends, and community groups at Turning Point Community Church. She volunteers weekly for church youth groups, doing anything from connecting with students to carrying out clean up duties. She also volunteers biweekly at Refuge Services, which includes horse handling and communicating with clients.She is interested in childcare, visual arts, and design. Her goal within childcare and art is to start her own business that provides a safe and fun environment for children to learn art skills and put them into practice.
