Finnish and Swedish Country Manager at one of Europe's largest online retailers in the cycling industry. My work consisted of marketing measures such as Google Ads, Facebook Marketing and ads in relevant cycling related magazines. I also did technical support, customer support, translations to Finnish and Swedish, handled media relations, arranged booths at exhibitions and attended demo days for product testing.FI:Toimin Suomen ja Ruotsin edustajana yhdellä Euroopan suurimmista pyöräalan verkkokaupoista. Till mina arbetsuppgifter hörde bland annat Google Ads, Facebook-marknadsföring och annonser i cykeltidningar. Jag fungerade även som teknisk support, skötte Finlands och Sveriges kundsupport, gjorde översättningar till finska och svenska, höll kontakt med branschens medier, arrangerade montrar till mässor och deltog på demoevenemang där våra produkter kunde testas.

I made my bachelor thesis for the mountain bike product development team at ROSE Bikes (Rose Versand GmbH) in Bocholt, Germany. The topic for my thesis was "Test Bike Implementation for Bicycle Frame Product Development". The thesis involved mechanical engineering related measuring equipment and required understanding about material properties, laws of physics and electronic measuring technologies, such as strain gauges and data loggers.I got the grade 4 out of 5 for my thesis work.

Product development and coordination of product testing for our clients in the sports industry. Mainly coordinating testing of advanced sports electronics in large groups and also participating myself in many of the testing phases. A big part of my personal testing focused on usability and finding software bugs. The work also involved some product testing of other sports equipment and sports nutrition.

In 2012 while still studying for my bachelor degree, I decided not to apply for any summer job and focus on my sports career. I did some summer studies, but mainly focused on high quality training for Mountain Bike Orienteering (MTBO). The hard work paid off and in 2013 I represented Finland in the MTBO World Championships in Rakvere, Estonia. I also got to represent Finland in the final round of the MTBO World Cup in Portugal in October 2013.
