Strong research professional with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Iowa, where I hope to enter the workforce as a Machine Learning Scientist/Engineer in biotech research fields like Computational Pathology! I will be receiving my Master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering in December of 2021, where I focus more on Deep Learning / Machine Learning techniques as they apply to brain tumor classification and health disparities within cancer treatment. I am an experienced Research Assistant with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Communication, Databases, Data Science, and many programming languages. I enjoy working with cross-functional teams that offer different experiences and backgrounds, which I believe foster innovation. I was an active member in our IEEE Student Branch as the Project Lead in my undergraduate degree and received the Kurtz Outstanding Senior Merit Award from the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. I love working with data and have experience from computer vision to internal medicine. I have a passion for innovation, creative problem solving, and creating solutions that improve our quality of life!
