I am a graduate from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor in Science, major in Environmental Science, and an emphasis in Communications. I have acquired over 2 years of professional experience to date within the field of Environmental Science, specializing in stormwater management and development projects subject to compliance with the most recent California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). My experience has included providing environmental services to a diverse client base consisting of private and public properties throughout Southern California. Additionally, I am OSHA certified and in the process of becoming a LEED GA in an effort to extend my environmental education into the working field.My academic background includes an emphasis in communications and education, as I have a particularly strong hat for communicating environmental awareness through community outreach using creative strategies. Throughout my academic career, I have developed a strong passion for the implementation of sustainable practices into existing programs, which led me to become active in politics and education at the University of Arizona. The positions I held during this time allowed me to develop valuable leadership skills and a entrepreneurial attitude, especially when placed in a collaborative environment. I am confident that my leadership traits are what set me above the rest, as well as my strong will to exceed anyone's expectations.
