Chashama is an arts nonprofit that transforms underutilized commercial real restate into creative space for artists.At Chashama, I worked with the Board of of Trustees to develop a business plan that would orient Chashama towards growth and financial sustainability.

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is a non-profit organization comprised of a global constellation of art museums.I produced and executed high stakes, front-facing communication strategies for our in-development museums: Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and the proposed Guggenheim Helsinki. I also project managed the Guggenheim Wikipedia Initiative while serving in critical roles on several of our new institutional initiatives, including our first online exhibition.

As an associate in the Global Communications department, much of my work focused on diplomatic coordination of mission-driven projects that included many local and international stakeholders such as Museum Mile Festival, the annual print and digital holiday cards, and the Guggenheim Visitor Guide.

Domenic M. Recchia Jr. was the Chair of the New York City Council Finance Committee and council member for Coney Island, Brooklyn from 2001-2011.In my role as Communications Director for the Finance Chair of the New York City Council, I drafted and disseminated all communications from Councilman Recchia, which included messaging related to his district as well as the financial climate of New York City. In this role, I learned how to accurately and succinctly articulate complex city budget processes and changes in the local and state fiscal policy to the public.

Global Strategy Group (GSG) is an American public affairs and research firm specializing in strategic communications, digital strategy, grassroots and grasstops organizing, marketing and branding.At GSG, I was responsible for drafting content for web and social media platforms on behalf of several clients. I also contributed to the branding strategy for a top financial services firm, an online university, and a bioengineering firm.

Coil, GP was a partnership that specialized in bespoke software solutions built on cutting-edge open source software. I developed Coil with the same team that created Stockyard Media, Inc., working primarily in a business development role, identifying and cultivating clients whose businesses would benefit from custom software systems.

Stockyard Media, Inc. owned and published STOCKYARD, an online, cultural magazine that offered the following: social, political, and cultural commentary; fiction and poetry, narrative nonfiction; and art and photography in and for Chicago.I created the magazine as an alternative platform for students, faculty, and other local stakeholders to share artistic and intellectual pursuits with a broad audience.
