As the marketing & communications intern at Kuhn North America, I generated informational material for company use in various campaigns such as Kuhn TV and Wellness Works to keep employees up to date. I brainstormed innovative designs to be used in future promotional items such as event invites. For the company newsletter, I wrote and proofread articles. I created social media content to promote online interaction between followers and Kuhn. Also, I interviewed customers to gain their feedback on Kuhn products and then used the information to write a customer testimonial.

As the communications intern at UW Discovery Farms, I had the opportunity to plan multiple events throughout the summer from ordering food to communicating with the host and arranging tables and chairs. I also constructed and proofread articles that were based on UW Discovery Farms research. Currently, I am redesigning the quarterly email newsletter on Mailchimp.com and updating their website information.

While studying in London, England for a semester, I was fortunate enough to intern at The Icebox for 7 weeks. I promoted The Icebox to other companies through mail and social media interaction to create an interest in the various ice products. On Mailchimp.com, I reorganized their email lists to insure a higher response rate and created a monthly e-shot to update customers on recent activities.

I assisted the Jackson County Agriculture Agent by updating the UWEX Dairy Partner Newsletter website to make it user-friendly and eye-appealing. I also constructed a display booth for the Jackson County Fair to educate people about the NRCS. At the Jackson County Dairy Breakfast, I educated visitors about the host farm's agriculture practices.

At the Jackson County Parks, I helped beautify the county parks and recreational areas to enhance the customer's experience. As the receptionist, I welcomed and assisted guests with reserving camping spots, answering questions and providing information about local attractions.
