Perhaps more than any finance executive you have ever met, I take an operations-focused approach to client service. I feel that it is critical to understand as much as possible about the product or service they deliver, the impacts that management decisions have on top line revenue and cost containment, as well as the cost/benefit relationship associated with innovation. Sometimes, leaders’ default settings advise them that they can’t afford to do something – I help them realize that sometimes, they can’t afford not to.As a more complete business partner as opposed to a more traditional Interim or Fractional CFO, I have developed a niche in the areas of Strategic Planning and Strategy Implementation, especially for organizations that are either new to formalizing the concepts or growing faster than their ability to be able to drive the process internally.During my time in industry, I spent just over five years running the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) in the Integrator role for an organization that had achieved Mastery in its implementation. I know the tool inside and out and would be a great person to partner with to participate in an implementation or to get the most they can out of the tool.I am a seasoned executive with over 30 years in the accounting field and over 20 years in a leadership role with experience in many different industries. I am currently in search of client companies where my broad experience in strategic planning, strategy implementation and financial leadership can help business owners shape the future of their company.I have a broad background in the types of companies that I have worked with in my career. In a leadership role, these include automotive repair and service, construction, manufacturing and social services. My expertise in financial leadership includes banking and borrowing relationships, treasury management, employee benefit plan construction and administration, business insurance and risk management, operational and capital budgeting, capacity analysis, and transactional due diligence from both the buy and sell side.
