Interior Styling / Interior Decorating / Social Media / Editorial /With a BA in Graphic Communication, I have an exquisite eye for design, detail, and a scrupulous approach to presentation evident in all of my work spanning across print, web and interiors. In recent years I have capitalised on my core creative and administrative skill-set and combined this with a passion and extensive knowledge of interiors, to develop my own hugely successful interior design blog, Brit Décor. The blog and accompanying social media channels showcase my ability as a self-starter and creative storyteller, showing that I can create a strong visual and professional identity for brands and clients alike. I have also worked with brands such as Marks & Spencer Home, Joss & Main, Amara, Soak & Sleep, Out & Out Original, and German homeware brand, Connox.In my previous role as Interior Stylist & Social Media Co-ordinator at Andrew Henry Interiors Ltd, I created (from scratch) the company’s social media channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. As well as managing these channels, I also designed and wrote a monthly 'House Tour' e-newsletter and regularly updated the company website. As an Interior Stylist at Andrew Henry Interiors, I was also responsible for liaising with the Interior Design team at Andrew Henry Interiors to fully understand each design brief as well as identifying new & emerging design trends. In advance of a project install I sourced relevant interior accessories in-line with the brief and in accordance with each project budget. On site I would ensure that all decorative accessories were styled to maximise visual impact and best compliment the original brief, dressing and photographing each client’s property to the highest standard. In my current role as Interior Designer at Studio Mike Ahern I continue to spread the word on interior design, trends, tips and news, as well as designing & styling residential properties for the new build industry, private residential clients, and holiday accommodation. I always relish the opportunity to work with new people & projects.
