Following Carolyn Campbell’s decision to step down as CEO, having enjoyed 15 years of success, I was engaged by the Board to steer the peak state sporting organisation through its transition to new leadership. Working in close collaboration with the board of directors and executive team, I am overseeing all business strategy and success of Netball NSW from the Community grassroots level through to the elite professional level across our two SSN Clubs the NSW Swifts and GIANTS Netball. Committed to building on an outstanding legacy for the organisation, I am also leading financial, marketing and communications strategies and investments in new technologies and digital, ensuring we embed best practice, maximise revenue streams and deliver sustainable growth. Key to this mission are strong relationships with commercial and strategic partners, Netball Australia and our Affiliated Associations (Affiliate Members) who are the foundation for our organisation and who we partner with to provide Netball services and products to our circa 115,000 registered members.• Serve as the face of the organisation to the media, Government and general public, with key announcements including the $30M facility upgrade at Meadowbank delivered in partnership with State Ministers;• Played an active role in securing the $50M upgrade of Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre (Ken Rosewall Arena) and with the NNSW President spoke at the NSW Government Sydney Stadiums Strategy Inquiry on the urgent need for new and upgraded indoor arenas in Sydney for Elite Netball and other Sports.

Joining the executive team as General Manager Corporate Services & Company Secretary, I progressed to COO in 2016 and as 2iC to the CEO, shaped organisational strategy and led delivery of an ambitious business plan. My focus was on the commercialisation and the setup of the newly developed state of the art Netball Central facility and the creation of sustainable revenue streams and best practice, as I moved the organisation back into profitability and doubled turnover in a few short years. As COO, I planned and managed operational and financial related activities, providing leadership to teams spanning finance, venue operations, membership and competitions, HR and IT, whilst also providing oversight of insurance, reporting, legal, risk, contracts, property/assets and procurement. • Transformed financial performance from loss to significant profit, enabled via employer executive decision making as a result of improved financial reporting & analysis, revised procurement processes and controls, business planning and commercial negotiation;• Played a leading role in establishing the Suncorp Super Netball (SSN) league club GIANTS Netball that commenced in 2016 in partnership with GWS Giants AFL, and the establishment of key SSN league agreements with the national club CEO Group;• Supported lobbying activities resulting in the upgrade of the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre for Netball SSN events, securing commitment for redevelopment from the Premier & Sport Minister;• Supported the organisation through the COVID-19 crisis to achieve one of its best financial years to date, securing millions in Government grants and implementing new, technology-led ways of working.

Joining the organisation in a financial management role, I progressed to hold a broad strategic and operational remit, including corporate services, player spend and contracts, salary cap management, and special projects. A trusted partner to the CEO and CFO, in developing and executing business plans, driving a best practice approach and sustainable revenue streams, produced the annual budget, planned salary cap management and negotiations for specific commercial agreements, including sponsorships. A varied leadership role, I also oversaw general office management and led a portfolio of special projects supporting the evolution and continuous improvement of the organisation pre and post partial privatisation. Key initiatives included office relocations/fit out, Annual General Meeting management, negotiation of sub-tenant leases, facility constructions and IT system implementation and upgrades.• Contributed to the Rabbitohs winning the NRL premiership in 2014 through critical player negotiations and shrewd salary cap and third party agreement management and strong relationships with stakeholders including the NRL; • Achieved and maintained an impeccable record in salary cap compliance; • Negotiated a new subtenant lease (800sqm) at Club headquarters including management and co-ordination of the subtenants fit-out and relocation;• Created and maintained new revenue streams, securing hundreds of thousands of dollars in sponsorship deals and donations and built the Club’s initial Major Raffle into a consistent revenue raiser for the Club and Souths Cares.• Managed the planning and delivery of the club's inaugural Return to Redfern Rabbitohs V Tigers fixture following the $19M upgrade of Redfern Oval.
