Worked as a Solutions Analyst in the Nationwide Office of Investment’s. Responsible for analysis of Nationwide Investments securities data integration into Moody's KMV Risk Frontier Credit Portfolio analysis tool. Securities data came from EAGLE PACE Data Warehouse Hub. Focus was primarily on CDO (Collateralized Debt Obligations) and CMBS (Commercial Mortgage-Backed Security) securities. Designed and wrote detailed requirements specifications for Informatica developers.

Responsible for leading an Enterprise Data Warehouse development team that sourced and integrated Financial transaction systems for analytical use by business users. Analyzed, designed, data modeled and wrote development specificatons for the integration of these source systems into star-schema Data Marts. Led development team to analyze and design the Cross-Product Data Mart which portrayed customers and their relationships with bank. The Cross Product data mart was the pre-cursor of EDW’s Relationship Data Mart (RDM) that housed Account-level, Customer-level and Household-level data. Analyzed, designed and built conformed dimensional tables.

Led a development team that worked with Retail Marketing to develop a series of profit calculations that were developed in SAS. These calculations include Cost of Funds, Interest Income, Fee’s and other financial attributes. The results of these calculations were loaded into Oracle database tables for use by business analysts.Performed role of on-site liaison with Retail Marketing. Also, managed integration of First Chicago/NBD bank data into environment. My role during this integration was to be lead architect and project manager.

Worked with Retail Marketing to develop an MCIF feed to a vendor for monthly customer householding. This MCIF feed contained data from over 30+ application systems. Worked with Retail Marketing to determine new requirements and prioritize development efforts. Identified data issues and implemented numerous testing techniques to avoid future issues.

Worked with Corporate Finance to develop a series of product profit calculations that were developed in Pacbase and loaded to mainframe DB2 tables for use.

Developed CICS front-end screens for Autolite Accounting to enable inquiries and updates to the Hourly Payroll system. Autolite management met with ADT as a possible alternative but stayed with the in-house solution. Developed an EDI solution for “Just In Time” shipment of product to automobile manufacturing sites. With this deployment Autolite became the first Allied-Signal division to mplement an EDI solution for production shipments to Ford and Chrysler.
