As a seasoned Physiotherapist with a career spanning over two decades, I am deeply passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their optimal health and wellness. Graduating from the University of Birmingham in 2002 marked the beginning of my journey in the field of Physiotherapy. I started my career as a rotational Physiotherapist at Birmingham Heartlands & Solihull NHS trust, where I gained invaluable experience in various specialties.In 2005, I had the privilege of working part-time at Birmingham City Football Club (BCFC) of the English soccer Premier League, further expanding my expertise in sports-related injuries and rehabilitation. However, it was in June 2007 that I embarked on a great opportunity as one of the first physiotherapists in the UK to serve as an Emergency Physiotherapy Practitioner (EPP) in the Emergency Room (ER) at Solihull hospital. Collaborating closely with Emergency Consultant Doctors, I acquired a wealth of knowledge and honed my skills in acute care and injury management.Driven by a desire for new challenges and experiences, I made the decision to relocate to Sydney, Australia, in November 2008. Shortly thereafter, I joined the esteemed Physio, Posture & Fitness Clinic (PPFC), where I continued to deliver high-quality care to patients while embracing the vibrant culture of the Australian healthcare landscape. However, my entrepreneurial spirit led me to establish my own private practice, Fix Physio, in Sydney CBD in late 2014.At Fix Physio, I nurtured a vision of holistic patient care, blending hands-on treatment, tailored exercise prescription, and comprehensive patient education. Over the years, Fix Physio has flourished from a solo endeavour to a thriving clinic of 7 team members. My commitment to educating and empowering patients extended beyond the clinic walls, as I took on roles as a lecturer for the sports massage module at the NSW School of Massage and a tutor for the Physiotherapy Coaching Academy of Australia (PCAA).In October 2022, I embarked on an exciting new chapter in my career journey by transitioning from physio and business owner to the role of Country Manager for Physitrack, a leading provider of exercise prescription Software as a Service (SAAS), overseeing operations in Australia and New Zealand. This role allowed me to leverage my extensive clinical experience while delving into the dynamic realm of health tech solutions. In January 2024, I transitioned to Physitrack's sister company, Champion Health, where I spearhead the launch of their workplace wellbeing SAAS in Australia.
