I was employed in the restaurant industry for 30 years, starting at the bottom and working my way to General Manager of three locations. Later in life, I returned to school, earned my GED, then earned my Associate's in Business, and currently earned a bachelor's in Business and Leadership.Starting in the restaurant industry, serving customers is a great way to develop people skills. Throughout the years, I have built on my people skills to fit the business world in the management of a team, working with vendors, managing projects, delegating to team members, and following up with constructive and praising feedback. While employed in my current position at Walmart as a seasonal team lead, I have furthered my people and business skills by leading a team with positive results and meeting constant deadlines.I am ready to put my skills to work in a new position to be an asset to a company by further perfecting my abilities.
