Ghost Train is a 5 piece high energy original/cover rock band based in the Boston area and performing at clubs, festivals, and events across New England. Currently working on finishing up our 2nd studio CD!With Ghost Train I play a Hammond XK5 dual manual organ which I run through a Leslie 3300 (also have a Neo Instruments Mini Vent II when lugging the 3300 is not practical). The XK5/3300 combination is heaven-sent - just amazing. I also play a Korg Kronos 61 for all my piano/strings/synth sounds. Love the Kronos - so much capability in one board. I run the Kronos and any other keys through a Motion Sound KP500SN stereo 3D keyboard amp. At home I still have my Roland Fantom X88 workstation beast when I need that fully weighted keys feel, a Hammond SK2 as a backup, a Nord Electro 5D 73 as a 2nd backup/rehearsal organ, and a Roland JP8000 when I need to scratch that itch for some analog (albeit virtual) synth goodness.

I played a Hammond SK2 dual manual Organ which handled all my needs for acoustic/electric pianos/strings/pads/etc as well as being a killer B3 clone. I ran the organ through a Neo Instruments Ventilator for that essential Leslie sound, and then through a Roland KC 550 amp. It made for a pretty nice light weight rig since the Hammond is only 37 lbs and that's usually the only board I took on gigs at that time.

I played a Roland Fantom X8 for piano and synth, and Roland VK7 Organ through a Crate K160XL amp. I added a Neo Instruments Ventilator to my organ rig for that beautiful leslie sound. Very nice for my first organ rig.

I played various Roland stage pianos, a Korg M1 for main synth/organ, and a Roland SH101 analog synth. My first serious band and we kicked butt covering Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Blues and we wrote some orginals too. Can't say enough about the experience of working with George - a great band leader and a great friend.
