Joined start-up Continental Power Exchange, LLC in 1994 as Support Desk Engineer and was promoted to QA Manager in 1996.In the year 2000, Continental Power Exchange LLC formed into Intercontinental Exchange, Inc (ICE) and transformed into a public company in 2005.During the early 2000’s, I performed instrumental roles with leadership in ICE’s most risky operational projects. This included redesigning and migrating data centers, creating and monetizing ICE’s first Global Network and increasing system capacity 10X over a 3 month period.As ICE ramped up Migrations and Acquisitions in the late 2000’s, I transitioned my focus from designing and engineering responsibilities across ICE to leading efforts with integrations to expense management and company-wide vendor contract optimization on annual expenses of 85M, 150+ Global suppliers, 525 Accounts, and 6k+ lines of inventory reconciled monthly.My Team managed disputes, credits, invoicing, and audits resulting successively saving ICE - 2M per year since since its inception.The Team would execute data analytics for Operations Management. Serve as a liaison for Operations Management to define, create, and deliver reports to provide executive management meaningful information in a consumable format.The Team would additionally support our Operations and Commercial Groups in bidding out network and data center needs to suppliers. This created an opportunity to manage established agreement standards in basic business terms.
