Above other tasks/duties, responsible for the implementation of the social studies curriculum at the high school level. Subjects taught include Advanced Placement US History, AP European History, US History, Legal Issues, Anthropology & Sociology, World Cultures, and Civics.

• Design and develop a comprehensive K-8 STEAM curriculum aligned with state standards and district goals • Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the STEAM curriculum • Implement and run VEX Robotics Competitions, engaging students and fostering a passion for robotics and STEAM education • Coach and mentor teachers in the effective delivery of STEAM lessons, providing guidance and support for continuous improvement • Organize and coordinate STEAM-related events, such as science fairs, maker fairs, and competitions, to showcase student achievements and promote community involvement • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholder teams to address opportunities and challenges, optimizing processes and enhancing data-driven decision-making • Communicate and visualize insights effectively to stakeholders at multiple levels, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the STEAM program and identify areas for improvement, ensuring the program remains current and relevant to student needs

Assisting teachers in incorporating instructional technology into their classrooms as well as developing new strategies for the implementation of instructional technology initiatives throughout the district as well as for remote learning (during COVID-19). Leading professional development for new instructional technology practices district-wide. Working along side teachers to engage students in technology-rich (including STEAM) lessons across all subjects.
