As Solutions Leader at Mercer, Mike's focus is to strategically support sales and product development with a focus on the Health and Benefits Line of Business. Mike is responsible for ensuring that all core responsibilities are delivered with excellence and strong business acumen in order to achieve strong outcomes in the overall team's financial and sales goals. Mike's core support areas include:- creating sales opportunities through marketing initiatives- working with Market Leaders in Consulting and Benefits Administration to position holistic solutions for clients and prospect- closing deals in finalist stage by connecting sales value proposition with delivery model and team- being a subject matter expert in all sales meetings, including impactful presentation of web demo and tools- performing due diligence to scope work and provide input to strategic questions required for defining the opportunity and best solution- providing support to define competitive pricing- assisting with training and educating of new Sales Market Leaders and/or Business Leaders on domain specific strategies and solutions- acting as liaison between sales and operations for aligned products- responding to sales inquiries and support of end-to-end RFP process- identifying and prioritizing product development needs to enhance current models, or introduce new products and innovation based on intel from from clients, prospects, and search advisers- ownership of scope of services alignment with market, trends, and client needs; accountability for seamless and integrated link between sales and delivery; assisting with contractual support to represent scope and client commitments- responsibility for developing and maintaining all business routines within the scope of the Solution Architect role and the sales process- identification and implementation of continuous process improvements within business routines
