I'm the host and co-creator of the world's greatest math game--Who Wants to Be a Mathematician. Improving our STEM outcomes is crucial in today's world and WWTBAM is a part of that equation. What better way to improve the nation's math and tech skills and excite students about math than a fun, friendly competition featuring interesting questions? The atmosphere is like that of an athletic contest, with cheering students holding up signs for their math superstars, who get a chance to be recognized, just as good athletes are. Who Wants to Be a Mathematician is fun to the nth degree. We're looking for dynamic regional and national sponsors to partner with the AMS and increase the scope and appeal of the game as we help make math--the root of STEM--come alive for students.
