I am currently working at TiVo as a director of Solution Architecture, with a primary focus on IPTV solutions.Previously, I was part of the Mediaroom group acquired by Ericsson from Microsoft. In this group, I worked on the Mediaroom/MediaFirst IPTV software as the Lead Solution Architect for the AT&T engagement. My role at Ericsson expanded to cover IoT solutions, including integration of machine learning algorithms for IoT devices, retail, and computer vision.Prior to Microsoft, I was with Alcatel (now Alcatel-Lucent) for approximately 13 years, primarily in the IPTV and Intelligent Network (IN) fields. In the IPTV field, I held roles in management, solutions architecture, and integration validation. Generally my focus was the integration of the Mediaroom middleware into the ALU end-to-end IPTV solution architecture and implementation. Prior to my experience in IPTV, my roles in the IN field ranged from support to development (sometimes both) for the Alcatel product lines, including the SCP, SMS, SCE, SRP and HLR.I have recently completed my PhD track in Computer Science, with research focused heavily on resource allocation optimization algorithms in LTE environments.Specialties: IoT/M2M Architecture, IPTV Architecture, LTE architecture, Microsoft Mediaroom and MediaFirst middleware platforms, C/C++ development, C# development, Software Design, Machine Learning algorithms, Distributed/Mobile Environments, Database Design, Software Profiling
Listed skills include Iptv, Integration, Software Design, Solution Architecture, and 42 others.
