Currently Executive Manager at North Unit Irrigation District (NUID) – the second largest irrigation district in the State of Oregon. The district encompasses 113,000 acres of which nearly 60,000 are irrigated serving 950 patrons growing diversified agricultural crops and products. Through my affiliation with the District, I am active in Federal, State, and Regional water issues participating on Boards, Committees and Advisory Groups that seek to protect regional water supplies while working to develop reliable and affordable water supplies for the future. Prior to joining NUID, I operated and managed 2 irrigation districts in the Northern Sacramento Valley of California. Before my career managing irrigation districts, I spent 15 years working for Pirelli Cables and Systems of North America at their Northern California Power Cable manufacturing facility. Pirelli is an international manufacturer and supplier of energy and communications cables serving the power and communications industry. In those 15 years I held regional and corporate level positions in Engineering, Quality, Production, Environment, Health and Safety. Most recently I've joined Farmers Conservation Alliance serving in an advisory role in addition to supporting their Government Relations team.I've served as President of the Deschutes Basin Board of Control – representing the 8 irrigation districts of Central Oregon, President - Oregon Water Resource Congress, Executive Committee Member and Irrigation Rep. Board Member -Deschutes River Conservancy, Advisory Committee Member - Family Farm Alliance, Board Member - Northwest Irrigation Operators, and Agriculture Representative Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife State Fish Screening Task Force.
