I am a "Broker of Automation Engineering Talent" in that I provide promotional support to a strong and experienced staff of engineers. Our specialty has been integrated industrial material handling systems and machine control. Some added areas of expertise for KA would be Food Processing, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Fluid Control. We also are a prominent provided of panel design, engineering, and fabrication for a variety of industries and customers in a "build to spec" relationship. My duties included marketing, sales, design, and project management/implementation of systems sold to end users.

I act as a consultant to warehousing and logistics professionals on the application of material handling storage and conveyor systems. I conduct basic material flow analysis, material handling equipment safety surveys, as well as storage and space utilization studies. I have been in this business for nearly 22 years and have strong experience in pallet racking, drive in racking, pick modules, shelving, mezzanines, and conveyor systems. More recently I spend a considerable amount of time helping customers get better and more efficient use of their space and current handling equipment, thus deferring major investments in relocation of building expansions that may not be affordable in this current economy. I also specialize in helping those smaller to medium sized companies get started with their material handling systems and continue to act as a member of their team as they grow.

Managed District Manager staff members and developed a system of product application training and computer generated engineering software training for nationwide distributor / integrators. My training packages were adopted throughout the company and were used with both internal personnel as well as field sales and distributor companies.

New account development for conveyor customers. In this position I pursued prospects and provided design, proposal, and turnkey installations of conveyor projects for manufacturing and distribution environments. This is where I developed my CAD drawing skills and applied them to my project work.
