I have been working in theatre for over a decade making new work, and I am now looking to move across into TV in script editing/development. In 2020 I was reader for Channel 4 Screenwriters, and I’ve subsequently been asked by Philip Shelley to continue on as a shadow script editor on the 2021 course.In my extensive freelance career in theatre I have developed shows for organisations including The Almeida, Nuffield Southampton and Storyhouse Chester. In 2019 I was the Resident Director in the New Work Department at the National Theatre Studio, and prior to that I was the Associate for Young Artists at The Almeida. I have also produced work which has toured both nationally and internationally with my own company, and I have twice been an Associate Director for National Theatre Connections. I am a judge for the Writers' Guild Awards and have also compiled and edited a volume of auditions monologues for Nick Herne Books.
