Required developing training plan and confirmation weld process was being carried out meeting AWS D17.1 and Rolls-Royce RQSP001 welding specifications. Lead point for communication and coordination within various levels of Rolls-Royce both remotely and on site in Derby, England. Issue was contained with no delivery impact to end customer.Personally recognized with The Employee Distinction Award by the Barnes Group CEO for the management of insourcing proprietary sintered metal press process to produce abradable turbine shrouds. Project provided overahul components for the global General Electric commercial aerospace engine market.
