Started in the construction industry in 1993 as a heavy equipment mechanic on highway milling and paving equipment. I then started working on the milling crews in 1995 as an operator. In 1997 i was promoted to foreman, and then quickly went through the ranks becoming a project manager, and estimator for commercial and state highway concrete, and milling always staying close to my roots as a mechanic. In 2010 i started Midwest PLM, a roadway striping, and signage company. In 2019 Midwest was awarded the National Contractor Of the Year Award by Pavement Maintenance Magazine. Last September I sold Midwest. I still act as the Vice President of the company running all the day to day operations. I over see the Project Managers, Estimators, and Mechanics. I control job costing data, Accounts Receivable, and run high profile jobs such as Nasa, Perry Nuclear Plant, City Contracts, State Projects, and Amazon Projects. My experience is mostly in the $100,000 to $3 million range when it comes to managing projects. I am an Advisory Board Member of the National Pavement Expo, and teach ADA Striping and Signage Compliance to a National Audience.
