Developing and growing my existing key accounts plus targeting and opening new accounts in the B1 & B2 market place.

Initially winning new commercial B1 and B2 business for the media site at Blackburn. Progressed to developing and growing existing accounts, plus winning new business for commercial, direct mail and web work across the St Ives group product range.

Management of the North West supplier base on behalf of TDG, including research and acquisition of new suppliers to TDG preferred supplier list.

Assisting the Directors and fellow employees in the day to day management from design through to print production.

Initially targeting and selling repro to previous house clients who were not core-customers by re-visiting old client base. By progressing into repro and print sales my personal achievements increased per annum over the years. My sales portfolio and product knowledge then grew to include web and direct mail.

Initially employed to set up basic repro department. Responsible for plate-making, film planning cromalins etc. Film and planning skills enhanced to proficient 4-colour “retouching” work.In 1993 promoted to Repro Foreman, overseeing 4 staff on a 24 x 7 shift basis. Responsible for organising shift-patterns, holiday entitlements, all press requirements. On call 24 x 7 and reported to Production Director.During 1994 I was promoted to Repro Manager and responsible for updating the repro department, which involved overseeing conversion from benchwork to digital repro.In 1995, I moved the entire department to a new site and managed an increased workforce of 14 staff working double day shifts.Following the company’s investment in a new Muller Martini press, I attended on site training in Dusseldorf, Germany. Upon my return I was responsible for training the repro department in the workings of the press.

Duties consisted of paste-up artist, camera operator, 1-2 colour film planning progressing into 4-colour repro. Included mask cutting, mounting scans and bench-work.
