Managed the CPP Technical Centre, reporting to the site Director and General Manager. The Centre provided a design through to manufacture service to a global customer base, operating specifically in the Pharmaceutical, Personal Care and Food Packaging Industries.Utilising 3D CAD (ProEngineer and Alias Wavefront) and rapid machining to create injection moulds directly through the CNC pathway.The engineering group was responsible for the development and industrialisation of major pharmaceutical drug delivery systems, specifically for the Injectable, Inhalation and ophthalmic sectors.The department was responsible for the purchase of all related plant and capital equipment, Start up and had over to both Colchester and Wrexham production sites.Departmental engineers also provided technical resources to start up factories in Asia pacific factories - India / China and Indonesia Customers : Pharmaceutical, Personal Care and Household products.
