With a career starting in 1987, I have been very fortunate to see geological and drilling data from many of the major basins in North America. Beginning in the field, I have enjoyed working at all levels of both resource and service companies. I gained invaluable experience and insight in various technologies and applications. The challenge is the understanding of the "how," "where," and "when" to apply various technologies and strategies. Success has always followed the compilation of a great team of individuals applying to a common goal; whether this be drilling a successful well, providing a technical service that has a competitive advantage, or increasing the cost-effective exploitation of an aging resource, I enjoy helping to build on these components.

Using roundLAB's proprietary MSA algorithm, Operators enjoy significant increases in wellbore position certainty. Ellipse of Uncertainty (EOU) size is reduced, minimizing steering corrections, improving overall survey time and wellbore collision risk or hard boundary breaches. When compared to standard MWD surveys, use of MSA allows improved accuracy when pinpointing geological targets.

Cordax Geoscience is translating formation evaluation measurements into useful insights that enable industry to adjust their fracturing and completions strategies. Incorporating subsurface geological data into practical operational applications that improve fracturing efficiencies and maximize well productivity. Cordax Geoscience provides a range of interpretive desktop-based engineering software tools. The traditional LAS [Log ASCII Standard] format is still provided, but various interpretive solutions offer critical insights into how best to adjust fracturing operations or tailor completions programs. This is made possible by the ZoneGrader tool enables operators to grade a well based on their own predetermined petrophysical or rock parameters and make informed decisions that address the lack of homogeneity in horizontal laterals; the ZoneTuner software incorporates geomechanical properties and limited entry calculations along the horizontal lateral to automate stage placement and sizing, while optimizing cluster locations to minimize interstage formation closure stress differences. This results in more efficient fracturing operations, optimizes the stimulated rock volume, and increases the production potential per stage; and the ZonePredictor provides a clear appreciation of formation breakdown pressures, reservoir ductility or brittleness, as well as geologic anomalies. This enables operators to minimize expensive unscheduled events and ensure proppant loading is maximized.Various related well data sets—such as cuttings analyses, gas detection, tracer surveys, and actual pumping records—are also overlaid to provide a full view of why actual well productivity may be different from the anticipated. This way, a continuous improvement process can be implemented. It helps to connect the data to the well production in order to understand the relationship between the completion, the stimulation treatment, and ultimate well productivity.

Cordax provides open hole logs in horizontal and high risk wells. Using answer products such as Zonegrader Advanced Cordax uses the data to evaluate and plan efficient completion and stimulation for all wells. The cost effective, low risk and little impact method of acquiring the data is enabling accurate understanding of today's plays.

Cordax Evaluation Technologies operates in seven countries, providing exploration and efficient development logging services for large multinationals, regional national oil companies, North American independent operators as well as smaller junior producers. Cordax's unique logging service is the most economical, non-invasive, efficient, low risk technique to collect open hole measurements in the global industry today. Logs have been repeatedly validated through rigorous quality control processes with several multinational oil and gas operators.

Responsible for all aspects of operating and eventually divesting of Calmena's Canadian service lines, including wireline, contract drilling, micro seismic, frac fluid and equipment rentals. During tenure completed a refurbish and re marketing of Calmena rig fleet. From March 2013 to December 2014 completed 6 transactions while divesting of service lines, technical IP and asset's. Transaction values ranged from 1 to 15 million dollars. Managed Calmena's global directional drilling service line. This included operations in the US, Mexico and Colombia.
