Helping growers use precision agriculture to maximize their yields while reducing nutrient and labor inputs. My responsibilities as Operations Manager for Precision.Ag LLC, is to manage day-to-day operations. This includes managing soil technicians for grid sampling, processing samples to the lab, strategic planning for upcoming field events, solving issues for technicians in the field, working with co-op’s and growers to set up sampling events, managing a fleet of ATV’s, problem solving any issues that may occur with sampling equipment, planning and managing big projects. Also, I fly UAS’s to survey and analyze crop production for stands, disease, and yields.

I have been building and flying radio-controlled aircraft for over 30 years. I am a prominent member of the Memphis Propbusters RC Club, based in Memphis, TN. I also instruct new and current RC pilots.

My customers included golf course superintendents, sports field managers, and commercial landscape companies. As their Regal Representative, it was my goal to help my customers achieve both agronomic and economic goals at their facilities. The first step in helping a customer was to ask questions and listen. Before I made recommendations, I understood what my customer was doing and what was working for them, and what they would like to improve.Armed with understanding, I made recommendations that gave customers a high-value solution. Sometimes, this was adding a single product to the mix. In other cases, I would use my agronomic expertise to recommend a comprehensive program where multiple products work together to create dense green turfgrass that was disease resistant with the most playable surface.
