BMW Factory Team team member and direct report to car chief with responsibilities such as detailed component assembly, disassembly, and inspection including Magnaflux and Zyglo testing; designated over the wall rear end tire changer; testing and improvement of multiple systems on or relating to the race car; upholding strict procedures per BMW of various aspects of race car via involvement in suspension maintenance and testing, powertrain and drivetrain installations, moderate electrical systems works, cockpit construction suited to the needs of all drivers.

Primary responsibilities include disassembly and inspection of race engines following each event; cleaning and inspecting of individual engine components; inventory management; assisting engine builder with various needs; set up and break down of Superflow 902 engine dyno and assisting engine tuner during testing and tuning sessions; product and design R&D for optimal performance; occasional assistance of travel team to tracks for mechanical assistance on race cars.
