Develop and measure standard metrics. Diagram the flow (including inputs and outputs) of ABS QE’s business processes. Identify opportunities for improvement, and develop project plans for implementing improvement programs. Monitor improvement plans to ensure effectiveness of new processes. Participate as a management team member in the development and implementation of company policy to achieve company and corporate objectives, related to overall company plans. Participate in Accreditation Body Office Audits. Identify and plan resource requirements as it relates to the overall strategic business plan of ABS Quality Evaluations. Strategically develop / maintain pool of auditors in conjunction with Program Managers based on customer requirements, ABS accredited standards and geographical locations of client base. Continually evaluate and maintain competency program for audit staff to ensure maximum qualifications are assigned to auditors for work assignments. Ensure maximum auditor utilization targets are achieved of full time audit staff. Develop and maintain “witness auditor” schedule to ensure North America auditor staff is properly trained and reviewed in accordance with company procedures. Develop training plan based on results of auditor reviews noted in item 3.Continually develop new audit strategies (ie, electronic reporting, paperwork reductions, etc.) to streamline audit execution. Achieve target levels of customer satisfaction. Working with HR, train and mentor audit staff to improve their professional capabilities. Ensure all quality system processes related to audit functions are being executed properly. Participate on the Certification Management Team, including attending Accreditation Body Audits. Be an active participant in the ABS QE Management Team along with Business development and Certification Groups.
