Stelrad is the UK market leader and a pan European manufacturer of radiators and heat emitters. The company supplies heating systems to leading UK construction companies and is the preferred choice of heating and M&E contractors throughout UK, Ireland and Europe. The company manufactures in South Yorkshire and trades under the brands Stelrad and Henrad. During my tenure a number of initiatives were introduced including:• a net pricing strategy• introduction of an RMI specific range (Vita)• streamlined industry leading supply chain• 3 year manufacturing development strategy• introduction of 3 strategic product line approach across all functions • real-time measurement of field sales• telesales and web-based project tracking• investment in a London office & showroom and architect team• direct sales model into the CII sector• e-trading via SOA web site• new brand identity• industry leading HS&E approach (853 days without an LTA)• sector focused NPI programmeStelrad market share and sales (2011 to 2014/15) both grew significantly and ahead of the market. As MD I held P&L responsibility for the company and the Sanitec region.In addition to UK/Ireland responsibility I undertook the role as EVP/ MD for the Sanitec Nordic region. The company is part of the European market leader Sanitec which is based in Stockholm and Helsinki.

In addition to the UK MD role I was appointed to the EVP position.Sanitec is the European market leader in bathing and shower products with a global turnover of c€400m.Bath and Shower is a core business sector for Sanitec offering high growth potential in both sales and profit.As EVP of Bath and Shower responsibility is P&L and rested primarily in the strategic development, investment and divestments across all trading regions.

In addition to UK/Ireland responsibility I undertook the role as EVP/ MD for the Sanitec Nordic region on an interim basis whilst a new MD was recruited and appointed. During this time a significant amount of organisational restructuring was implemented.The main brands within the Nordic region are Ido and IföThe company is part of the European market leader Sanitec which is based in Stockholm and Helsinki.

Global

Responsible for the sales and marketing of all plumbing and heating products outside the UK. In addition I was General Manager of the Caradon German manufacturing plant.

As the youngest General Manager to be appointed in the history of Blue Circle I had P&L responsibility for the Blue Circle Bathrooms Showering business unit. The role covered operations, sales, marketing and management of the two UK manufacturing plants and a global sourcing team.

Rugby

The Alcatel Alsthom Group, acquired GEC power companies in the M&A of 1992. Alcatel Cegelec provided electronic and electrical technology solutions.
