About Mike Cooney

With over 30 years in engineering and IT for the broadcast industry, my expertise lies in managing engineering and IT activities, as well as the tower portfolio for Beasley Media Group's extensive radio station network. My role also involves overseeing significant real estate transactions, tower sales, mergers, acquisitions, due dilligence, and the operating and capital budgets. In my current leadership position, I proudly chair the NAB Radio Technology Committee, guiding industry standards and pioneering new products that shape the future of broadcasting. I've been nationally recognized 3 times as one the best CTO's and Engineers in the industry. I work in close collaboration with the Digital department to develop and manage third-party vendor relationships, all while maintaining a keen focus on the seamless integration of advanced broadcast technologies.
