Creating a clear artistic direction, consistent aesthetic, and unique presentation for new and archival literary and vinyl releases, working with a wide range of printers and production materials.

Worked with numerous publishers, independents, and small businesses including organizations such as Fonograf Editions and Mechanical Systems Inc to create a range of print and digital content. Projects have included book covers, board games, email marketing templates, typesets, promotional materials, marketing content, and more. Work done in this area was versatile and allowed for experience working in a wide range of design, digital development, and content editing software.

Working with medical professionals and graphic designers to prepare various print materials for production and distribution to clinical trial sites. Proficient use and troubleshooting within Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Google Drive, and Microsoft Excel. Coordinating with a team to create high-quality trifolds, brochures, table cloths, posters, and more for clients ranging from Pfizer to Acceleron to Novartis.

Worked with authors and the press to edit manuscripts for publication, as well as design beautiful, fitting layouts for each book using a combination of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Word. Preparation for release included social media promotion, product & print design, developmental editing, copyediting, and publicity. Digital content was created and edited in line with the print material in order to create a succinct product.

Edited short-form writing for online publication, using a combination of WordPress, Submittable, and Microsoft Word. Work required knowledge of these programs, as well as copyediting, troubleshooting web issues, using Canva, and organizing schedules and deadlines. This position provided great experience with stylesheets, content editing, and examining various UI elements.
