As General Director of the World Folkfest Mike leads a working board of 10 passionate volunteers. The board produces a weeklong festival in Utah County where dancers come from all over the world to perform traditional folk dance and share in cultural exchange. The festival usually attracts over 200 dancers and requires the organization of over 400 volunteers including families who host the dancers while during the festival.

Green Ground Compost is an Organics Recycling company. That means we make something useful out of the food waste that grocery stores and restaurants throw out everyday. We pick up food waste from over 100 grocery stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and turn it into compost. I coordinated these weekly pick ups as well as developed a compost recipe and run compost site operations.
