I started in this industry three months after graduating from Parks College at Saint Louis University with my BS in Aerospace Engineering with Midcoast Aviation, Inc. With Midcoast, I started as an Associate Engineer in the Stress Department and have completed Substantiation Packages for Bombardier Challenger 604/605/850, Global 5000/XRS Interior Completions, Falcon 50/900/2000, Gulfstream G-IV/G-V, and Hawker 700/800 Maintenence/Refurbs. I was the Program Lead in charge of the Stress Group for about a year, but left the position for personal reasons. I ended my tenure with Jet Aviation (renamed from Midcoast) in October of 2011 for a position with Boeing, St. Louis.I started at Boeing as a Structural Analyst on the F/A-18 E/F Wing Group, focusing on the Main Wing Control Surfaces. I provided fleet support for Boeing Cecil Field in Jacksonville Florida.In 2013, I moved to Boeing St. Clair as a Liaison (MRB) Engineer working on the CH-47, F/A-18 E/F, F-15, and the new 777X programs providing production support.While working at St. Clair, I earned a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Missouri S&T.In June, 2020, I took an opportunity with Andromeda Systems Incorporated as a Senior Stress Engineer working on various Navy Sustainment Programs.I have also started my own company, CAS Engineering, LLC. The CAS stands for Cunico Aero Systems. I have the company to handle any outside contracts I get from time to time, but hope to expand it someday.Specialties: Structural substantiation of interior cabinetry for custom completions on Business Jet aircraft and helicopters. Methods include classic hand calculations and Finite Element using FEMAP w/ NX Nastran. Also have exposure to OEM modifications and repairs. Design capabilities with AutoCAD and Solidworks. Currently gaining experience in NASTRAN/PATRAN and Unigraphics.Other specialties include programming using VBA (for Excel), Access databases, and web programming (PHP, ASP.NET, mySQL).
