My new job with Navigant Consulting allows me to use the many years of experience gained from Manager of the Generating Availability Data System (GADS) Services for the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC). My new position in the Electric Generation Services area allows me to continue to assist clients and future clients with GADS questions and promote a highly-regarded software product, MicroGADS, to allow GADS Data Reporters collect, edit and prepare the mandatory GADS data for submission to NERC. I will assist team members in the Generation Knowledge Service (GKS) work and other power plant benchmarking activities. I was managing director of the largest electric power plant equipment database in the world, which tracks more than 93% of the installed electric generating capacity of the United States and Canada. I am a skilled presenter and trainer. Over several years, I developed the presentations and trained more than 10,000 professional and craft personnel in technical workshops. These skills allowed the clients to reduce downtime and increase productivity at their own facilities. I am a leader and groups learn from me. I facilitated several industry committees as a senior adviser. Several committees included responsibilities to set new industry guidelines. These guidelines are now used in the United States and Canada.
